Intimate and Fun Wedding at the Marguerite B Parker Chapel

Lindsey Schaal, one of the most fun and attractive brides, and Caleb McElroy, a handsome and loving groom, married in a beautiful February afternoon at the Marguerite B. Parker Chapel at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

The couple, who now reside in Houston, Texas had their reception at the elegant and newly renovated Stable at the restored historic Pearl Brewery--near downtown San Antonio, Texas.

The mood in the dressing room was a bit nervous but Lindsey's cheerful attitude put everyone at ease

Lindsey seemed relaxed and ready as her big day unfolded

Caleb seemed to look forward to his date at the altar with Lindsey--looking dapper and debonair

It was a windy but sunny day but the wind did not seem to dampen the relaxed and fun temperament of the day

The chapel arches are beautiful!

The ceremony was a solemn but joyous affair--many eyes were welling

Lindsey and Caleb did not need much coaxing to see how they felt about each other! WOW!

The reception was very elegant and eye pleasing and the bride and groom just irradiated their warm and good feeling toward each other

Caleb shows us that winning smile while involved with his new bride. Do they enjoy one another or what?

No hiding their enjoyment here.

Lindsey shares a laugh with her father. Why do I think that she is a daddy's girl

Giggem' Aggies! Not too many UT fans in attendance at this one; no one denies that the Aggies know how to have a great time!

A fun time for everyone!

Wedding Album Wins at WPPI

Photoworks would like to think that it provides it's clientele with some of the best wedding photography money can buy. So we enter our client work into competition to be judged by our peers to see if our peers agree.

This year (2008), one of our wedding albums, Melody and Dale, won a coveted accolade of excellence from an international pro photography organization, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, called WPPI for short.

The albums are judged for style, technical excellence, creativity, and impact. We hope to continue to provide that edge to our clientele.

Photoworks takes four out of four at SWPPA Competiton

Last February, the Southwest Professional Photographers Association, an Affiliate of the Professional Photographers of America had their annual print and album competition where hundreds of professional photographers enter prints and albums to be judged to earn merits for their best work. Each participant is allowed only four entries. Each entry is judged on technical and artistic merit by a panel of Master Photographers. Merit scores are hard to come by!

Photoworks entered four items: one 16X20 print and three wedding albums. All three albums and one print earned merits. One of the albums was the second highest scoring wedding album in the competition. Of the hundreds of photographers who entered, Photoworks was only one of eleven that scored four out of four merit entries.

We are humbled by the honor of being given merits for our work from our peers. We work hard to give our clients the best photography that money can buy!

December Wedding at the Marquardt Ranch

Sarah Dawson and Garet Gold had a beautiful, informal, and yet elegant wedding at the Marquardt ranch 40 miles outside of San Antonio on a hill top overlooking the banks of the Medina River. It was one of the first weddings held at this site. Sarah was attracted by the rustic but scenic Hill Country setting.

Sarah has a young daughter,Ayden, by a previous marriage and we were the only folks hired back for this affair. Sarah's events are always such fun to photograph and she is such a beautiful woman harking ack to her modeling days.

Sarah was radiant and looked ready for what was to come

The bride's room with the balcony was a nice touch for the bridal dressing room.

Sarah wasn't the only one who was getting beautified

Garet had several gifts for his new daughter--jewelry to adorn her

It was a beatiful golden December afternoon as Sarah and Garet said their vows

They were married at the gazebo

Sealed with a kiss

You can see that Garet and Sarah had a lively and fun bridal party

Is Garet a happy guy or what?

The reception was also nice with a candlelight glow that symbolized the warm and celebritory mood inside

The warmth and intimate feelings between Sarah and Garet is evident especially on the dance floor

Sarah and Garet weren't the only ones having a great time!

It is really a privilege to be part of such a beautiful wedding with everyone having such a good time. Thank you, Sarah and Garet! It was such a privilege.
